When iron (Fe) and copper sulphate (CuSO4) solution react, they undergo a single replacement reaction to form solid copper (Cu) and aqueous iron sulphate (FeSO4). The iron can be solid or aqueous but the copper sulphate must be aqueous in order to facilitate the reaction.
Steps for Reaction:
1. Press setup to create the copper sulfate molecules.
2. Press Create Iron Rod, creating an iron rod ready to chemically react to form iron sulfate.
3. Choose amount of Copper Sulfate to Mix
4. Press Mix Copper Sulfate to add the Copper Sulfate in.
5. Press Forever to run the program.
6. Watch the Data results on the right side of the screen.
